About our practice

Physiotherapy treatment at 101 Physio & Allied Health

What we do

We treat people, not numbers. Our work covers the common reasons people seek allied-health care:

  • Physiotherapy for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, work injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic-condition management — at all three clinics.
  • Podiatry at our Melton clinic — heel pain, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, paediatric foot development, orthotics.
  • Psychology at our Melton and Sunbury clinics — individual sessions, ADHD assessments, ASD assessments and cognitive assessments.
  • Allied therapies including hydrotherapy, shockwave therapy, dry needling, clinical Pilates, remedial massage and myotherapy.

See our services page for the full picture and how services map to each clinic.

Our approach

Our approach is straightforward:

  • Assess first. Every plan starts with a proper assessment — history, examination, discussion of goals. We don't apply pre-cut treatment to undiagnosed problems.
  • Plan with you, not for you. You're the person who knows your life, work and goals. We bring the clinical perspective; you bring the rest.
  • Communicate honestly. About what's likely going on, what the options are, what's realistic, and what we don't know. Outcomes vary between people — we don't promise specific outcomes.
  • Coordinate where it helps. With your consent, we communicate with your GP, specialist, case manager, employer or NDIS support coordinator where it supports your care.
  • Refer when appropriate. If a different practitioner or setting would help you more, we say so and help arrange it.

Funding pathways

We work with most common funding pathways: private health insurance (HICAPS on-site), Medicare Enhanced Primary Care and Mental Health Care Plans for eligible patients, WorkCover, TAC, NDIS (we are a registered provider), DVA, and private payment. Eligibility depends on your circumstances; reception can talk you through what applies.
