Do I need a referral for physiotherapy?

No — physiotherapy is a primary contact profession in Australia. You can book directly with us. A referral is required for some funded pathways (Medicare EPC, WorkCover, TAC, DVA).

Is physiotherapy covered by Medicare?

Eligible patients with a GP Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan may receive a Medicare rebate for up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. Your GP determines eligibility.

Can I claim with my private health fund?

Yes — HICAPS is on-site at all three clinics for on-the-spot claiming with most major Australian health funds (Bupa, Medibank, HCF and others). Rebate amounts vary by fund and your level of cover.

How long is a typical appointment?

Initial appointments are usually 30–45 minutes. Follow-up appointments are typically 20–30 minutes, depending on your needs.

Do you treat children?

Yes — our team includes practitioners experienced in working with children. Children's physiotherapy and ADHD/ASD/Cognitive assessments are available at relevant clinics.
