The foot and ankle take a lot of load and produce a wide range of problems — from acute sprains to chronic tendon issues. Our physiotherapists work across the full range of foot and ankle presentations at our three clinics. For specifically podiatry-focused care (nail/skin work, orthotics, diabetic foot checks) see our podiatry page — podiatry is at our Melton clinic. To book, call (03) 9746 6852 or book online.
For general public information, see healthdirect Australia's physical activity guidance.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an ankle sprain take to recover?
It depends on the severity, but most ankle sprains respond well to graded loading and balance work. We discuss timelines at the first appointment.
Do I need orthotics for plantar fasciitis?
Not always — orthotics are one tool. Calf-strengthening, footwear changes and load management often do as much. If orthotics are appropriate, our Melton clinic offers podiatry.
Should I get an MRI for heel pain?
Usually not initially — most heel pain is plantar fasciitis or achilles-related and can be managed without imaging.
