Knee pain physiotherapy at 101 Physio & Allied Health

The knee is one of the most common sources of musculoskeletal pain we see. Our physiotherapists work with acute ligament and meniscus injuries, longer-running anterior-knee pain, osteoarthritis presentations, and post-surgical rehabilitation across our three clinics. Frequently asked questions

Will I need an MRI?

Sometimes — for suspected ACL or meniscus injuries that may need surgical input. For many other knee presentations, imaging doesn't change the early management.

How long after ACL reconstruction can I start physiotherapy?

Usually within a few days of surgery, following your surgeon's specific protocol. We coordinate timing with your surgical team.

I have knee osteoarthritis — can physio help?

Often yes — progressive strengthening is one of the evidence-supported approaches for managing knee OA. We can also discuss pre-surgical preparation if knee replacement is on the cards.
